We offer expansive boarding, day care and basic grooming for your pet. Our caring team will have your pets believing they are on vacation! We provide a comfortable, clean, safe and caring environment for your pet while you are away on business or vacation. We also provide day care services for when you are at work during the day.
Our grooming services include bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, hair brushing, teeth brushing and anal sac expressing. We do not perform hair cuts.
Our team at Oak Park Animal Hospital attend to all your pet's needs while you are away, making sure your pet feels relaxed and loved in their new temporary surroundings. Having the ability to leave your pet with our experienced team of doctors and staff will not only give you peace of mind, but also will make for a more pleasant and less stressful experience for your pet.
It is our intention for you to enjoy your vacation or take care of business without worrying about your pet. We understand that you will miss them, and that they will miss you; we strive to make your time away from each other as pleasant and stress free as we can. We want your pets to feel like this is their “home away from home!”
We provide a safe, clean, flea free facility while housed in a comfortable retreat which is bright, spacious and a climate controlled environment. Our pet guests receive fresh food and water to your specifications, a fleece bed to lie comfortably in, multiple daily walks, and a lot of individualized love, care and attention.
Pets which have special medical needs are invited to stay with us while you are away, to give you peace of mind that special medical attention will be given to them and attended to as necessary. Should your pet require extra medical attention, medications or special care, our experienced team will tend to all their needs, from giving oral medications to providing insulin for our diabetic patients. If your pet should become homesick or ill during their stay, our doctors are available to assess and manage their medical needs. Please remember to inform us of your pet’s specific special healthcare needs and requirements when you call to make their boarding/day care reservations. We then will make appropriate staffing adjustments to accommodate your pet’s special needs.

Exotic Pet Boarding
We are one of the few facilities which will care for your exotic pet while you are away. We board all exotic pets and our team members love and have experience in the field of exotic animal care.

Requirements:
All exotic pets must be current on an annual examination performed by one of our veterinarians and a fecal screening. Since there are so many different housing requirements for each type of exotic pet, we ask that you bring your exotic pet in their housing. This not only ensures that we can care for your pet with the proper environment, but it will also decrease their stress level since their habitat has not been altered. Please also bring their personalized food with instructions for their feeding care.
